I
Care Compassion was founded by a dedicated professional with extensive experience in healthcare and social care. Before starting Care Compassion, she held various roles that gave her valuable insights and expertise in delivering high-quality care. Her deep passion for positively impacting lives and her commitment to ensuring clients can comfortably and safely stay in their homes inspired her to create Care Compassion.
At Care Compassion, we cater to individuals of all ages. We understand the challenges faced by hardworking families, which is why we offer much-needed respite care, allowing families to take a break and recharge, knowing their loved ones are in good hands.
Our mission is to provide personalized care that fosters comfort, dignity, and quality of life for all our clients, regardless of age. We are here to support and enrich the lives of those we care for, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care in the familiarity and warmth of their own homes.
My Journey
Before becoming a professional caregiver, I pursued various fulfilling careers:
Veterinarian Specialized in Pigs: My career began with a focus on veterinary care, working in the sector of genetics and maternity.
Café Owner: I then ventured into the business world, running my own café.
Spanish Teacher: Sharing my language skills, I worked as a Spanish teacher.
Teaching Assistant: Assisted in the educational development of students, including those with special needs and difficult behavior.
Professional Carer in a Care Home: When COVID-19 hit, I transitioned to caregiving in a care home, where I gained invaluable experience.
Mental Health Clinic Support: Worked at a clinic supporting mental health, specializing in trauma, addictions, and more.
Volunteer Work: At 17, I volunteered my weekends to support homeless individuals and older adults at a care home.
Volcano Guide: Guided climbs to a volcano, successfully completing the ascent seven times.
And Many Other Job Experiences: My journey has been enriched by various roles, each contributing to my skills and understanding.
After my experience in the care home, I decided to become a private carer, combining all my skills and compassion to offer personalized care.
Experience with Dementia and Parkinson's Disease
In my roles as a professional carer, I have worked extensively with clients suffering from dementia and Parkinson's disease. Over the past years, I have been supporting people at their homes who suffer from anxiety, depression, and providing support after the loss of their loved ones. These experiences have provided me with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and needs associated with these conditions. I have developed specialized care strategies to ensure the highest quality of life for my clients, offering tailored support and interventions that promote independence and well-being.
Why I Do What I Do
Personal Connection: Building trust and meaningful relationships with my clients is at the heart of my work. This enables me to offer personalized care that truly meets their individual needs.
Keeping Clients at Home: I believe in the power of home. By providing dedicated and flexible care, I help my clients maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.
Hands-On Involvement: Not only do I manage Care Compassion from behind the computer, but I also actively go out into the field to support and model to my workers. By working alongside them, I ensure that the quality of care remains consistently high and that all team members feel valued and supported.
Flexibility: I create tailored care schedules that fit perfectly with my clients' routines, ensuring they get the attention they need when they need it most.
Dedicated Care: One-on-one care allows me to focus on my clients without the constraints of a larger institution, providing a level of attention and support that is often not possible in care homes.
Expertise and Credentials: With numerous certifications and years of experience, I am an expert in the field of caregiving. My extensive training and qualifications ensure that I provide the highest quality care, adhering to the best practices and standards in the industry.
Respect: I treat all my clients with the utmost respect and dignity, valuing their individuality and ensuring their needs are met with compassion and empathy. I believe that everyone deserves compassionate support, regardless of age, race, or background.
Empowerment and Growth: My role allows me to continuously improve my skills and grow my practice, which directly benefits my clients through ever-improving care services.
